GW11 Review: More Kane Pain

My team

Gameweek points: 43

Goals from Aguero, Morata and Richarlison on Sunday were the highlight of GW11 for me.

Disappointments were a blank from captain Kane and a late Bournemouth goal against my team Newcastle resulting in a double blow late on Saturday.

I decided not to make any transfers for this GW, leaving me with 2 free transfers for GW12 after the international break. Barring any injuries over the break, my transfers will be used to change a couple of my defenders.

More Kane pain

Harry Kane failed to find the net for the 5th time in 6 Premier League games at Wembley. Kane was the most transferred in player before GW11 and also the most captained with just under 1.5m FPL managers handing him the armband, its no wonder then, that managers were left frustrated as a lacklustre Spurs limped to a 1-0 home win over Premier League basement boys Crystal Palace.

International Break

The Premier Legaue heads into another two week international break, with players jetting around the world to represent their national sides. Some have important playoff games, while others play pretty meaningless friendlies. England have two interesting friendlies at Wembley with Germany and Brazil heading to London. England have had a lot of players withdraw from the squad, Kane, Winks, Henderson, Sterling and Delph have all pulled out, I would however expect most if not all of these players to return for GW12.

Planning for 11 Gameweeks between 18th November and January 1st.

You will be pleased to know that this is the last international break for some time, and when it is over there is a mouthwatering feast of Premier League football to took forward to with 11 GW's in 44 days! This is a crucial period in FPL and provides a huge opportunity to make up some ground and move up those mini leagues. Having a strong team including a bench that is able to step up when needed will be key during this period as injuries and rotation is guaranteed to be a factor.

Can't wait for FPL to return in 11 days time!
