Saturday's pain healed by Kane: GW9 Review

Saturday frustration.
Saturday bought frustration for many FPL managers, with Pep Guardiola rotating his team for the Burnley game. Managers that felt particular aggrieved were owners of Raheem Sterling and Gabriel Jesus with both players being benched despite recent superb performances. The City pair had been bought in by a shed load of mangers, with 673,947 transfers in between them. Jesus scored a single point while Sterling didn't leave the bench and watched on with the rest of us. Who will Pep pick next week? Only he knows...

Kane's Wembley woes banished.
Harry Kane now has the most points in the FPL this season, with his performance against Liverpool bringing his total to 63 points. His brace, assist and three bonus points bought delight to 40% of FPL managers who own him. He has now scored 10+ points in 4 of his last 6 GW. Hands up who captained Lukaku vs Huddersfield rather than Kane vs Liverpool? My wife definitely did...

My team 65points -4 for transfers.

Highlights
13 points in total for Aguero and Stones who I transferred in this week. A late decision to captain Aguero rewarded with a goal and a single bonus point.

Nacho Monreal scoring for the second time in three gameweeks was an unexpected bonus for GW9. The Spaniard has scored 7 points despite Arsenal conceding 2 at Everton.

Disappointments
Sterling dropped to the bench and De Gea conceding two goals are the obvious disappointments. Davies also posses a problem as he failed to play for the second gameweek running.

61 points was enough to keep me in 2nd place in the overall ranking in the FPL.
